* Include a working URL directed at the survey and clear set of instructions regarding the completion and accessing of the survey.

If the target recipients of the survey are United States residents then a strict adherence to the CAN-SPAM Act is very necessary when sending survey email invitation. Some of the important requirements of the Act are:

* Avoid using deceptive information in the email fields of ‘From’ ‘To’ or ‘Reply-To’. Provide accurate information relating to the domain name from where the email was originated, the email address and identity of the individual or the business that is sending the email.

* Avoid using misleading subject lines that do not conform to the content of the email.

* Include your exact location along with a valid postal address.

* Provide an option to the recipient to unsubscribe to receive your emails.

* When the recipient opts to unsubscribe to receive your emails, honor this request in 10 business days.
